  Vernon's BBQ & Catering

  On a scale from 1-10. I would say a low 6. While the food was cooked to perfection, the lack of seasoning and taste were off the charts. I wouldn't call this place a real BBQ joint, the meat is smoked. The food is bland and appeals to one certain crowd I believe, caucasian people. As far as the value of food, you get a lot for your money. I ordered the smoked wings which had a major lack of seasoning and the pull pork which was just pulled pork. If you're not a bar-b-que sauce person and prefer just going dry....GOODLUCK. They have four very uneventful sauces to top the meat and the only one I personally like was the "The LOU". The sides are very unappealing. I ordered the burnt end beans (their verson of baked beans) GROSS!!! I believe to appeal to the crowd they need sides like mac n cheese or spaghetti/mostaccoli. Overall, the place looks nice!
