Landlubber's is a great place to eat because of a rare combination of reasonable prices, great service and good food. As a result, this Plantation restaurant hosts a mixture of neighborhood regulars and Broward/Dade County patrons who willingly drive many miles for their consistent, quality menu of what could best be described as pub, sandwich, and quasi-gourmet fare.
Landlubbers is almost always full, even on a weekday night. It's the friendly staff and great, fresh food that keeps 'em coming back for more. The bartenders know how to pour here, so forget the watered-down drinks you'll find at beach bars - these drinks are worth every penny in alcohol content!
If you're looking for the latest craze in fare, keep looking. Landlubbers probably hasn't changed their menu in years. But if you crave a great cheeseburger, decent fish and chips, or fresh fish you need to check out Landlubber's
The beach road is going to have to be moved inland. The ocean is not going to move. Next up for demolition by Mother Nature is the beach road in front of the luxury hotels. $3 million isn't going to fix anything long term.
