Cool place! Way off the beaten path! The Owner, the little guy Steve Rosenstein is quite the narsacist. Overly proud of his acomplishments and quite obviously suffers from little mans complex. The food was average about the same as any random off beat burger place. This guy did a good job at making Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer cool for $6.00. Blue collar sheak?? This guy stood there and went on and on about selling designers vintage cloting designs and a big contract with Sacks 5th Ave, Barneys, Nordstrom or whoever. Our group just lisened and laughed as he walked away. I was not aware that you cound make designer vintage brand new designer clothing?? New / Vintage, oxymoron?? Buying a $6.00 pabst and a $7.50 burger and a $5.00 piece of pie all from the same street vendor I can get my New Designer Vintage Clothing from and be entertained by a guy that walks around trying to be hip and buffed all at the same time is awesome!. Nice concept too much information and the food is over priced for average. Its like I was having a beer and a burger at an Army Surplus Store. Ugh!!
Walking into a restaurant and running into a boxing ring is a little strange, but it seems par for the course at Duce. This place has a little bit of everything. Boutique style clothing stores, home made pies and some pretty decent food. Stepped out of the warehouse to the courtyard and ordered the slider sampler for lunch ($8). Comes with 3 sliders and was pretty filling. Rusty chairs and wooden picnic tables abound. It looks like someone just picked up all of the old garage sale patio furniture and arranged it here, but not in a bad way. Pretty charming. Food was pretty good and wasn't too expensive. Would like to return to play some shuffle board or maybe pick up a home made pie.
