The Place is a DUMP. I had a craving for a cheeseburger & was on that side of town, so I decided to have a drink & get a burger to go. The burger was way overcooked & no sides. I got home with my tastebuds watering for this burger and it was totally screwed up. When I called to let them know, their attitude was less than responsive. Much like, "Tell your problems to Jesus", I drove back only to get the response, "Well, we will make it up to you next time." How do they know who I am, or if I am even in Ft. Lauderdale. NEVER EAT THERE!!!!!!!
I had dinner there last night & we were not impresed. We were hurried right back to a small table next to the kitchen. ( Might have been a good thing). I had a chance to look back into the kitchen & it was disgusting. Everything is so cramped it's amazing nobody has gotten a FBI, (Food Borne Illness). No seperation from dishwashing area from prep area. Trimmings & food scraps on the floor, not to mention stagnent water on the floor, (probably due to clogged drains), with a feeble attempt to conceal/safety measures by laying cardboard over the water & food. There is no practice of hand sanitizing in the back from what we saw.
Along with the outragious prices was the lack of service & knowledge from our server. It appears that they overcompensate by "showboating" from the open line & high flames from the saucepan to make up for their lack of knowledge.
However, their wine selection is varied with quality wines, but way overpriced.
My main concern was with the sanitary conditions. I was mortified when she saw the kitchen and told me.
As a Culinary Trained Chef I could only tell her that this is not typical.
I will never eat there again, & I hope the readers will follow my advice.
Just ate there today... Service was kind of slow, but the portions are HUGE and the meatball parm is amazing!
The place is a DUMP. Ate there the other night. Tasted like low grade DOG FOOD. I told the Mgr. that there was a leak in the rest-room,, he said go ahead.
