My visit simply became more visits to follow. The renovation of the building now home to Shokudo Asian Bistro is simple in it's modern and classic interior and pleasing to the eyes. The added back outdoor dining patio garden and seperate intimate bar room enhances the inviting property. Menu is fun by the harmony of multiple temptings common with Asian street food. From the home made dumplings to the duck egg hamachi on to many yummy rice and noodle dishes and other honored preperations signature to the countries of origin. And it gets better as the menu also includes most desired sushi, sashimi and Japanese eats from the successful 12 year run World Resource Cafe, their former ambition. Shokudo staff is attentive, friendly as is the owner Yoko Takarado and Partners whom have the experience and understanding that smart work and success in ownership is very real when the customer is also a 'guest'. As a guest you feel you are given moments of ownership by an experience that begins upon visiting with your first steps through the door. You see and feel the restaurant works hard and smart to provide an excellent dining visit and satisfaction felt long after leaving. And also smart is the staffs openess to solve any issue, respond to questions or comments, and always invite conversation with an ear hearing all voices from the lives of many. Bravo our new Bistro in Buena Vista Miami.
