  Trattoria Toscana

  It's been nearly a year since trying this restaurant and ashamed to admit I haven't returned---yet!! Both my date and I agreed it was some of the best food we've ever sunk our teeth into(we're in our 60's). She's a fan of fish and had the North Atlantic salmon. Being from St. Petersburg, Russia, she is well-traveled and loved her meal. I enjoy chicken spedini, and theirs is the best I've had. The service was attentive without overdoing it. Our waitress was young but very competent.
  We made it a point to compliment the owner?/chef? on our way out, a very friendly and appreciative fellow.
  From the outside it's very non-descript---I've passed it a hundred times, but once you're inside it's another world. My initial impression was seeing a lot of people appearing to be "regulars" smiling and enjoying themselves. I think I just talked myself into returning. George
