My friend & I decided to see what was happening in the city on a sunny Sunday afteroon--absolutely nothing--until we stumbled upon The Blue Hound Kitchen. We sat at the bar, ordered drinks, sope and chatted with the two pleasant bartenders. The beer was great on a hot summer afternoon, however, the app. was not. The masa was dry with a chunk of pork and a few dry strands of onion; carmalized and moist--not. We both ordered flatbreads. Mine, squash blossom & zucchini was bland and tasteless; hers, the sausage, was actually burnt! She returned it only to receive another that was more than charred on the bottom. The roasted beet salad, tasted like nothing more than canned beets, not freshly roasted beets--a world of difference between the two. We were sssssssoooooooo disappointed in our meal so much so that I would never return nor recommend. Hate to be so negative but this quality will never sustain this business.
