Historic ships and a shopping mall, who could ask for anything more? Well, there is much more! The Seaport serves as a stage for many free performances, great food, and the starting point for some exciting boat tours.
I'm so glad Shake Shack's are popping up around NY! This is one of my favorite places to indulge, when thick sirloin and brisket burgers take precedence over my flawed attempts to eat healthily. The one downfalls I can think of are the somewhat long lines- of course, that all has to do with timing, but a line's never fun when your stomach is grumbling for food! The fries aren't the best though... I would love the Shack so much more if they just gave the fries as much attention as the burgers.
This is truly like walking into a place of royalty. From the plush red booths trimmed with gold, to the elaborate ceilings, stepping off the busy streets of the city into this tea room is like stepping back into time. Not to mention, you'll feel so sophisticated taking tea here. The cinnamon Russian toast from the Brunch menu is delicious... and don't leave without trying one of the iced tea cocktails. My favorite is the Sencha Cooler, which is tanqueray citrus and sencha green tea, "the ultimate zen zinger."
