We were there for the grand reopening, and it was awesome. We have been following the crazy Amy stuff online, and just had to see it for ourselves. We had a reservation at 5, I live blogged about my experience, and we really enjoyed our meal. The service was good, but you could tell all of the servers were new. They did have a job fair to hire for their grand opening. We met Samy several times, and he was VERY nice. He stopped for a photo and was appreciative of our comments. We had two different pizzas, a burger, a panini, and an appetizer. The four of us split that, and the bill was only $62. We also took some pizza home for lunch the next day. Granted, it was their grand reopening, but I plan on going back in a few weeks to interview Samy and Amy for my blog. I still think all of this stuff is fake... and if it is, it worked. I took the bait. Do NOT judge this place until you try it. They are open and are taking reservations. Go in and see for yourself.

Four Peaks is one of my favorite brewing companies in Arizona. They make the Kilt Lifter, after all. We don't visit this location often, as we live close to the Four Peaks in North Scottsdale, but when we are in Tempe, we like to see the brewery. They are ALWAYS packed, so expect to wait for a table. Oh, and don't go in the summer. They do not have AC. They have several fans keeping the air moving, but if it is hot outside, it is REALLY hot inside. Fun atmosphere, though. If you like good beer, good food, and a fun college atmosphere, check this place out. It's worth it for the beer alone! If you haven't had Four Peaks before, order a flight. If you have, order a Kilt Lifter... or a Peach Ale. Your call! Cheers.
I didn't go to this, but my girlfriend Sheryl did. She said it was pretty much amazing. I mean, it IS Jimmy Eat World, after all. I got to meet Jimmy a few months ago; would love to see them live again. Especially at a club this small. What a rush.
When people come to visit, they always ask me, "Where can I get a good steak?" Well, if you want the best, then look no further than Mastro's Steakhouse. I was telling my mom about this place last night. Yes, it's expensive. VERY expensive. But that's OK, it's worth it. From the drinks in the bar to the sides at the table, this is the best steakhouse I have ever eaten at. Just touch your steak with a fork and it falls apart for you to enjoy. This place gets better every time I visit, too. If you like steak, you MUST try Mastro's.

There are so many pools in the Valley... I am not sure which one to see first! We live close to El Santo, and they get some pretty massive names thanks to Relentless Beats. Maybe I will just hang out there this summer!
