  Nettie's Crab Shack

  I gave this place( can't call it a restaurant ) 1 star . My actual rating is a BIG ZERO. My husband , daughter and I visited this place on Jan 21, 2013. As soon as we entered the place , we were greeted by an employee with a Sneer , not a smile or hello. The hostess passed several empty tables and took us to the last table in the back of the place, in corner out of site . I asked her if we could be seated up front . She hesitated and responded" I thought you would like a view". The view was the side of an apartment building . She took us to the middle of the room. Our waitress came to our table and did not greet us or introduce herself. I asked for her name and she responded sarcastically by asking me my name. I then asked to speak with the manager . She pointed to an Asian female , I believe she was referring to the owner. The waitress left our table and approached the manager /owner and appeared to be discussing our situation. I thought the person in charge would come to our table and inquire if there was a problem. That was not the case , she continued with her activities. She passed our table at least 3 times without acknowledging us . We decided not to order , we left that place. I spent the rest of the day thinking about how my family was treated. I don't understand how the manager /owner could witness her employees treat customers in the manner and completely ignore it . I don't think people of our ethnicity are welcome there.
